The Value Proposition

Who is "we"?

Founder, Leo Pusateri; along with dynamic members of his team, comprise the extraordinary faculty who will coach and inspire you through this process. We also have a support team that knows what it takes to deliver a world-class experience.

How do you inspire individuals?

By creating a unique, introspective process, with invigorating and reflective thought in a facilitated environment that will overwhelm you with spectacular beauty. We will further inspire participants by group discussions that will touch the heart, mind, body and soul of successful individuals.

How do we touch the heart of someone?

By unzipping the imaginary zipper on one’s chest, reaching in through the right questions, coaching and facilitating to truly connect to one’s emotions. It’s crucial to know what buttons to push and the program has been designed to push them.

How do we touch the mind of someone?

Connecting intellectually through questions, individual and team-based discoveries, reflection, and learning opportunities, while creating new insights and increased self awareness. Coaching mindfulness and meditation practices will help us touch the mind. Successful people like intellectual stimulation; we get them thinking about what they’ve learned from their success and what they are passionate about going forward.

How do we touch the body of someone?

In order for you to be your very best and to live your legacy, it’s crucial to take better care of yourself; it is paramount, so we discuss reflection points of what you are currently doing to take care of your health. These discussion points, plus the importance of diet, exercise and overall mental and physical wellness are addressed in the program.

How do we touch the soul of someone?

It’s the combination of the heart, mind, and body connecting and taking an individual to places that reside deep within us all. It’s that spirit, that inner sense of purpose, and belief that truly defines us all.

What does becoming your best require?

It’s a lifelong quest to go down the path of learning and discovery. You focus every day on things that make you better. You are constantly pushing the envelope doing everything you can to be better at everything you do.

What does “all aspects of your life” mean?

Think of every role you play out in your life. You are a spouse or significant other, son or daughter, a friend to many, a possible brother or sister, a member of a work family and a member of a community; imagine the effort required to be your best in all these areas; what a legacy you would be creating.

How do you define extraordinary?

Individuals who set the bar high in life while balancing roles and nurturing relationships along the way.

How do you define a successful individual?

A person who has found joy in achieving the full potential in his or her life. They have also made a difference in the lives of others.

Why The Sabbatical Experience?

We Believe

  •  There is a point in your life when you should be able to take a Sabbatical; unfortunately, many cannot.
  •  This point is usually when people reach a crossroad in their lives; an emotional trigger that makes one think about the next chapter of his or her life.
  •  Those who are blessed to have this opportunity will find an unbelievable re-invigoration to their heart, mind, body, and soul.
  •  People will realize that the most compelling life they have to live is their own. Why not live it to the fullest, and put them on a path to becoming their best – in all aspects of their life.
  •  The path to becoming our best is simply “awe” inspiring. Aren’t we all attracted to—and respect— those individuals who get it in all aspects of their lives?
  •  The opportunity to put ourselves on a path to realizing our full potential is available to all of us. Few are willing to take the time, to invest in themselves and to make the necessary changes in their life to live the life they have dreamed of.
  •  Ultimately, this introspective journey will challenge you to not only become your best, but to also define your legacy, and to begin to live it now.

“Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience in Buffalo. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I’ve been mulling and strategizing and this will be the first in a series of musings… so much to contemplate.

I had an interesting conversation with 25 year old daughter Steph. We were sitting by the pool and she asked what the course was all about so I pulled out the notebook and read the questions … fascinating discussion. The questions from the SabbaticalX beg to be discussed as a family.

This led my thinking in a different direction: you have the makings of a family meeting plan in a box.”
